Nahuel Mingote, capoeira name Guaxini, was born on Itaparica Island on January 5, 1984. He began learning Capoeira Angola with Mestre Marcelo Angola in 1997. He works with Capoeira Angola to preserve the values and traditional fundamentals of Capoeira Angola, both within and outside Brazil, giving priority always to the artistic and cultural aspects without compromising its characteristics.
Guaxini has traveled to Europe and throughout South America teaching Capoeira Angola. He now lives on Itaparica Island where he teaches classes with his group, Angoleiros do Mar. He is open to giving workshops to other groups and welcomes members of other groups interested in coming to the Island to learn with his group.
